[Rumor] Nintendo Wii U To Have Android Integrated Into It

wii u controller press 1307466616 300x199 [Rumor] Nintendo Wii U To Have Android Integrated Into It

A rumor has begun surfacing today that the Nintendo Wii U will have Android integrated into it. Since this rumor is in its infant stages there aren’t too many details. The rumor is just that Android will be integrated somehow which suggests this is something they have already done.

There is also an apparent leak that appeared on Twitter that links High-level Android developers and Nintendo. I did a little looking around and I couldn’t find any. I’ll keep digging and keep you posted.

Chrome For Android To Drop Beta Tag Soon

Chrome could be losing it’s beta tag within the next few week according to Sunday Pichai.  Pichai, senior vice president of Chrome and apps, said it could be “a matter of weeks.”  He also said their main goal was to offer a stable bug-free experience. You can download Chrome beta from the Google Play Store here.

I’ve been using Chrome beta since the day it came out, and it’s a solid mobile browser. However it does not support flash. Chrome for Android is setup to use HTML 5 which is the newest version of HTML, and it eliminates the need for flash. The only problem is getting website to adopt HTML 5.

Google Raises Storage Price Significantly With Launch Of Google Drive

google drive Google Raises Storage Price Significantly With Launch Of Google Drive

After fooling around with Google Drive for awhile I decided to take a look at the pricing plans, and I didn’t like what I saw. With the old pricing plans you could get 20GB for $5 a year; now you can get 25GB for $2.49 a month. While that isn’t that much in the grand scheme of things it is a significant price increase. On the flip side you can always go with the 16TB plan for just $799.99 per month;-).

After looking at the pricing I’m kind of skeptical about the success of Google Drive, as it appears it’s competitors have much better pricing plans. The source site below has a chart of Google Drive pricing plans vs. competitors, so check it out.
